About
I have been to honored work with hundreds of clients since receiving my MSW in 1998. I am not only well versed in evidence based treatments such as EMDR and CBT, but I also understand the importance of how to build on the unique strengths that each individual, family and couple already has.
Raised in Northern California, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1993. I later moved to Massachusetts to obtain a Masters in Clinical Social Work in 1998 from the Smith College School for Social Work, considered one of the most academically rigorous and highly regarded graduate programs for clinical work in the country.
Over the course of my education and career I have worked with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences within a range of settings including community agencies, group homes, psychiatric hospitals, schools, and private practice. While we may have different experiences and challenges, we all share a desire for connection, meaning and happiness.
